HOA411 — the free HOA lookup
HOA411 is a free public directory of homeowners association (HOA) and condo community information. For each community we publish the facts buyers, renters, landlords, and owners usually have to dig for: whether rentals are allowed, rental caps and waiting periods, monthly HOA dues, what those dues cover, and the management company. The directory currently covers 81,169 communities across the United States, and it grows as we research more communities.
HOA information is scattered — some of it sits in listing remarks, some on management-company websites, some only in association documents. HOA411 pulls it together into one page per community so a buyer or investor can answer "can I rent this out, and what does the HOA cost?" before making an offer.
Every community page shows a verification status. Facts reported from listing records are labeled as listing-reported; facts confirmed against HOA or management sources are labeled verified. A field we have not confirmed says so — we leave it blank or marked unverified rather than guess, and a community with no confirmed data yet says that too.
Rules and dues change, and sources sometimes conflict. When they do, we go with the most authoritative source we have and note the provenance on the page.
If something on a community page is wrong or out of date, tell us through the feedback and correction form. Every report is checked against a real source before we change a record — that keeps the directory accurate instead of just fast. Each community page also has a "Report incorrect data" link that pre-fills the form for that community.
HOA411 is owned and operated by VMF Holdings LLC, based in Colts Neck, New Jersey. The site is supported by advertising: local real-estate professionals and lenders can hold an exclusive Spotlight placement on a market's pages, and some pages carry network advertising or affiliate links (see our Privacy Policy). Advertising never changes the community data — a community's rental rules and dues are whatever our sources say they are, whether or not anyone advertises on its page.
